The Kansas & Central Plains chapter held its first annual Great Steps for NF Walk in the Kansas City area on Saturday, June 13th. Turnout was terrific, and the event was highly successful in raising both funds and awareness for NF.

  The chapter hosted a booth on June 10th and 11th at the Health Professionals Conference in Wichita. Health professionals from all over the state stopped by the booth get information on NF.

  On July 21st, the chapter will host a booth at the 20th Annual Statewide Summer Conference for Kansas School Nurses. This conference, which attracts school nurses from all over Kansas, will be held in Wichita.

  On October 8th, there will be a booth in Salina for the 2009 Kansas State Nurses Association. We are hoping to attract and educate a lot of nurses about NF.
